The North Face has followed on from its British Millerain collaboration by reintroducing Extreme collection, which first debuted back in 1988. The capsule is heavily influenced by big-mountain skiers from the ’80s, with the functional and controversial style reworked into 2020-ready styles.

The stand-out piece is the Extreme Wind Suit, which comes in the collection’s red, black and blue color palette. Elsewhere, The North Face is introducing a selection of accessories, including the Tough-As-Hell backpack, Burly cross-body bag and two color options of its breathable, quick-drying cap. Rounding out the collection is a pair of The North Face sneakers.

The first “Fiery Red” Extreme collection will release on January 15 at The North Face web store and select stockists. An “Asphalt Grey” capsule will then follow in March this year.
