Helly Hansen Updates '90s Technology for Archive-Inspired FW20 Collection
Inspired by the E-352 offshore survival suit.

Helly Hansen has debuted the second collection from its archival HH-118389225 line, taking inspiration from the late 1990s E-352 offshore survival suit. The suit was originally developed for people working in cold water conditions, and featured flame retardant and water tight fabrics and seams, as well as built-in gloves, boots and spray-hood.
For Fall/Winter 2020, Helly Hansen has reinterpreted these ideas and used modern versions of the original technologies. This sees professional-grade fabrications, 3-layer shell technology, ultrasonic taped seams, 3M reflective detailing and interchangeable utility patch pockets used throughout, while Primaloft Silver is also used for insulation on some pieces.
Stand-out items in the collection incude the “Arctic Survival” parka with a performance outershell and PET filled inner jacket, as well as the “Immersion” reversible puffa jackets.
Take a look through the lookbook in the gallery above, and expect the latest Helly Hansen HH-118389225-202 collection to arrive at select stockists in September 2020.
