adidas ZX 8000 "Lethal Nights Pack" is Back in Black
A second snakeskin-equipped style for the ominously-named pack.
adidas Originals has breathed a great deal of new life into its classic ZX series as of late, and one of the models that’s set to keep the momentum rolling is the ZX 8000 “Lethal Nights Pack.” Dressed with technical materials and reptilian embellishments, the design is at once striking and serpentine, a perfect accomplice to the more classically styled snakeskin ZX 8000 that recently surfaced.

Crafted of a sturdy black mesh, the upper’s base layer is quickly overlaid with a rubberized, diamond-shaped pattern for additional texture. Grey, white and black snakeskin paneling swings around the mudguard, up to the bottom eyestays — where it collides with a tan croc print — and on to the heel. However, not all the accents are of the cold-blooded variety.
Blazing bright orange is present on the midfoot’s leather Three Stripe graphic and the middle eyestays. This bold hue also makes an appearance on the sockliner and tongue tab. A cream tone is present on the heel cage and the midsole, which itself adds one more pop of orange towards the forefoot. Black outsoles with orange Torsion bars finalize the look.
The adids ZX 8000 “Lethal Nights Pack” will release at retailers like 43einhalb and Asphalt Gold on January 6, with a MSRP of €140 EUR (approx. $155 USD).
This isn’t the only experimentation adidas Originals has been cooking up: it recently fused the Stan Smith and Superstar to create the brand-new Superstan, a compelling hybrid silhouette.
