adidas Originals Revives Classic Amsterdam "City Series" in Its Truest Form
Finished in premium suede and leather.
adidas Originals returns to its “City Series” with a one-to-one recreation of the Amsterdam, one of the Three Stripes’ most sought after retro pairs.
Having not been seen in its true form for years, adidas Originals now brings the Amsterdam back in its signature “Dusrus/Brown/Mesa” colorway complete with gold-toned foil stamping on the medial and the iconic blue Trefoil-adorned tongue tab.
The rich suede upper is contrasted by the caramel-brown leather used for the Three Stripes, heel tab and lining, which all sit atop the light gum “Odenwald Sohle” sole unit. Elsewhere you’ll find a leather tongue that’s debossed with adidas design tropes, a set of brown laces and, for those buying the adidas Originals Amsterdam from Hanon, an exclusive accompanying scarf that references a traditional football matchday essential — tapping into the German shoe’s terrace culture legacy.
Take a look at the adidas Originals Amsterdam in the gallery above, and sign up to Hanon’s online raffle to be in with a chance of getting your hands on a pair on January 24. The pair is priced at $110.45 USD.
