Sheff G Highlights the Importance of Community in "8th Block" Visual
A cut off his 2019 project, ‘THE UNLUCCY LUCCY KID.’
Drill rapper Sheff G is revisiting his 2019 project THE UNLUCCY LUCCY KID with a music video for “8th Block.” Written in reference to E 18th Street in his neighborhood of Flatbush, the Brooklyn native highlights the importance of a good support system in the midst of trying times. The visual shows Sheff surrounded by the people he trusts the mosts, while old clips that share the same message of community weave in and out. He ends the music video with photos of friends that seem to be incarcerated, closing it with a statement that reads, “FREE THE GANG.”
