'Walker, Texas Ranger' Is Getting a Reboot
Chuck Norris will be replaced by Jared Padalecki of ‘Supernatural.’

Walker, Texas Ranger is next in line for a reboot. The original action crime series starred both Chuck Norris and Clarence Gilyard as Texas Rangers, as they incorporated martial arts and law enforcement to solve crime and better their community.
Airing from from 1993 – 2001, and spanning across 202 episodes and movies, Walker, Texas Ranger remains one of the top television shows in the mid-’90s. For this CBS TV Studios reboot, Norris’ character is set to be replaced by Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki. As this is a direct reboot of the original series, the show will follow the new Cordell Walker without ever mentioning Norris’ Character — a camo from the legend has not yet been mentioned.
In other news, Jonah Hill reportedly eyed to play villain in Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.
