Paria Farzaneh Embraces Vibrant Iranian Prints With Latest FW19 Jackets
Decked in rich paisleys, floral prints and various geometric motifs.
Off the heels of its Spring/Summer 2020 runway at London Fashion Week, Paria Farzaneh has dropped two new Fall/Winter 2019 jackets that embrace the heritage of vibrant Iranian prints.
First up is the multi-colored quilted jacket, covered all-over in paisleys, floral prints and various geometric motifs. Offered in a relaxed cut, the jacket sees a raised collar, complemented by ribbed cuffs and a reinforced hemline. The central zipper is made with silver-tone hardware, juxtaposed with meticulously detailed chevron motifs running all the way down to the bottom. Breaking up the patterns of the front, the back of the jacket is highlighted in repeated tile patterns.
The next piece is a hooded jacket that has central zips at the left and right, allowing the wearer to open up the jacket from either side. Prints from the aforementioned piece have been applied to this one, covering the chest, arms, hood and inner lining. Apart from the colorful decorations, the rest of the garment is made up of a toasty beige palette that holds a subtle sheen. Adjustable drawstrings at the hood and cuffs round up the details of the piece.
The Paria Farzaneh Iranian Print Quilted Jacket and Neutral Print Detail Zip Hooded Jacket are currently available at Browns for $1,356 and $1,110 USD, respectively.
