Here Is Everything Announced at Nintendo Direct 2019
Revealing an array of releases for its flagship Switch console.
Looking to round up the year strong, Nintendo recently held its annual Nintendo Direct presentation to announce the releases it has planned for the rest of 2019 and early 2020. The 40-minute long display saw a strong focus on the Japanese company’s Switch flagship console, more specifically SNES games, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC and more coming within the next few months. Additionally, Nintendo confirmed the upcoming arrival of Overwatch, Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast and Doom 64 for the Switch, along with new details for Pokémon Sword and Shield.

SNES Games Coming to Nintendo Switch
Nintendo Switch Online members will be able to gain access to a choice selection of classic Super Nintendo games September 5. Standout titles arriving include games include F-ZERO, Star Fox, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and more. Additionally, Nintendo Switch Online members will have exclusive access to new SNES controllers which will be priced at $30 USD.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate New Characters, Costumes, Stages & Game Modes DLC
Nintendo kicked off a roll-out of DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with the arrival of new characters Banjo & Kazooie, along with the announcement of the upcoming arrival of Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury. Announcing more DLC content set to come, Nintendo gave fans some new Pokémon and Undertale (Sans!) with promises of five new characters and the return of the Home Run Contest game mode.
New Details for Pokémon Sword and Shield
Helping build anticipation around the upcoming titles, we got a better idea of the customization systems set to launch with the games. Notable elements include outfit customization, “Pokémon Camp” and “Curry Rice Mode” which allow you to play and eat with your Pokémon. New Generation 8 Pokémon Polteageistand Cramorant were also revealed.
