Afield Out Heads to Sequoia National Park for Fall 2019 Lookbook
Featuring earth-toned layering pieces for the upcoming season.
After releasing a selection of hot weather staples for Summer 2019, Afield Out returns with another drop of accessible seasonal wares for its Fall 2019 collection.
Merging traditional outdoor silhouettes with streetwear influences, Afield Out focuses on functionality and quality for everyday wear. Afield traveled to Sequoia National Park in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California to capture both the durability and style of the Fall 2019 collection. Similar to previous lookbooks, the brand showcases the natural environments that inspired the collection.
Among sequoia trees and flower fields, the lookbook features nylon down jackets, signature cargo pants, coach jackets and floral sweatpants. Graphic T-shirts and hoodies with Afield’s mountain logo act as layering pieces for the upcoming season. The collection is delivered in subdued earth tones, with occasional pops of purple. Phrases include “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and stylized Afield Out branding, with graphics of flowers and peace signs.

Elsewhere, South African designer Thebe Magugu was selected as the winner of the 2019 LVMH prize.
