Wrist Check: Odell Beckham Jr. Flexes Six-Figure Richard Mille Watch During Season Opener
He also launched a new footwear series with Nike.

For his first game as a Cleveland Brown, superstar receiver Odell Beckham Jr. decided to dress for the occasion by wearing a Richard Mille watch on the field. The watch is reportedly an automatic RM 11-03 McLaren Flyback Chronograph, which currently goes for around $350K USD. Most people would covet a watch of this value, but Beckham chose to come out strong this season, wearing the timepiece so casually it almost appeared as though he forgot to remove it from his wrist before kickoff.
Even with the weight of a $350K USD watch on his wrist, the wide receiver managed to clock in seven passes for 71 yards during the team’s game one loss against the Tennessee Titans. The NFL issued a statement saying that Beckham violated its rule that prohibits players from wearing sharp objects, which is one of many rules put in place to “protect players from unnecessary risk, promote player safety and emphasize sportsmanship.” However, the athlete reportedly won’t be fined for the dress code violation.
What’s more is that OBJ launched a new footwear series with Nike, one in which he’ll sport custom pregame cleats inspired by some of his favorite kicks, starting with a Yeezy colorway.
In other football news, Antonio Brown signed a one-year deal with the Patriots after being released from the Raiders.
