The Air Jordan 1 "First Class" Gets Inspired By Packaging
A bright take on the classic high-top.
Nike has unveiled its newest iteration of the Air Jordan 1, taking cues from the company’s own packaging and shipping designs. The “First Class” silhouette embraces a vibrant white and yellow colorway, embracing premium perforated leather throughout the upper. Featuring barcodes and shipping codes along the heel and medial, the shoe introduces a unique variant to the heritage series while retaining the sneaker’s tried and true form. As a nod to Michael Jordan’s legacy, the footwear also includes his signature stamped along the collar in the underlying panel.
Balanced atop a bright yellow outsole, the AJ1 “First Class” is expected to release on Nike.com on September 28 for $160 USD.
In related news, SBTG recently customized a pair of Air Jordan 1’s referencing a modified 1985 version with straps worn by MJ during his early days.
