Bakar Drops Comforting New EP 'Will You Be My Yellow?'
Featuring a guest appearance from Dominic Fike.

Multifaceted artist Bakar has shared his newest EP, Will You Be My Yellow? via Black Butter/September Recordings. Clocking in at just 15 minutes, the six-track project is produced almost entirely by frequent collaborator Zach Nahome (Badkid) with some aid from Matty Tavares of BADBADNOTGOOD for “Ghosts” and Beach Noise for “Hell N Back,” the EP’s lead single.
The UK-based musician and face of the Louis Vuitton SS19 campaign only taps one guest artist for the EP, namely Dominic Fike for “Stop Selling Her Drugs.” Speaking on working with Fike, the artist mentions that the connection was immediate. “Me and Dom spent time whilst I was in America, and the connection was there right away just on a human level,” he said in a statement. “We worked on a couple things at his house and when I got back to London ‘Stop Selling’ was the first thing I sent him. He bodied it. Feels right that Dom is the first ever feature on a Bakar record. That’s my guy.”
