Foot Locker and adidas drop the latest versions of the adidas AM4 silhouette, as part of the third edition of the innovative partnership to introduce a rapid sneaker production process to key cities across Europe. Following up on the successful Berlin and Milan iterations, the third instalment takes us to the city of Paris.

Parisian-based graphic designer Leisure 93 draws inspiration from the cultural movements of music, the arts and fashion within the city and the patterns and markings found on Paris roads and sidewalks.

“I decided to make a creation based on our relation to the surface of Paris; the shoe is a direct link between our body and the ground. I found inspiration in the patterns and markings of the Paris roads and sidewalks. While I’m on the move in the city, riding my bike, I often look at this civic works of art.” The fractured design of the SPEEDFACTORY AM4 UB PARIS replicates these signs and markings as well as the cracks in the asphalt on the Paris roads in blue, green and red.

Releasing on September 25 and limited to only 500 pairs, the sneaker will be available exclusively at Paris Foot Locker stores and on Foot Locker’s web store. Each product also comes with a special collector’s edition box, with an illustrative map of Paris. Expect the final city release to be revealed soon.
