HANON Celebrates New Balance's Archive With M577 "Flimby Legend"

Scottish footwear store HANON has unveiled its 19th collaboration with New Balance, celebrating 15 years since the two brands first worked together. The new joint release sees HANON take on the 577 silhouette, for a “Flimby Legend” design inspired by New Balance’s archive and its Made in England legacy.
The team at HANON wanted the new sneaker to resemble a back catalogue shoe, or a sample that never saw a wider release. The sneaker is dressed with a premum grey base, complete with tonal blues including “Marine,” “Cobalt Blue” and “Navy Suede.” Other touches include white leather on the collar and heel tab, as well as embroidered detailing on the tongue and heel tab and a cream midsole with gum outsole.
Take a look at the HANON x New Balance M577 “Flimby Legend” — which takes its name from New Balance’s factory in Northern England — and head over to the HANON site to pick up a pair.
HANON is the latest retailer to rework the 577 silhouette after Sneakersnstuff released a “Grown Up” take on the sneaker.
