The trailer reveals plenty of behind-the-scenes footage including a segment dedicated to the famous chestburster scene which, according to the film’s folklore, was a genuine surprise to the cast as they were unaware of what exactly would happen. Memory: the Origins of Alien will release in select nationwide theaters and will also reach On Demand services on October 4. The last we heard of the Alien franchise, Ridley Scott is set to direct the third prequel which is being written.
