Medicom Toy Taps Cleverin & nendo for Antibacterial BE@RBRICK
Coming with additional fragrance sticks.

After releasing its leather-clad BE@RBRICK with Lewis Leathers a few days ago, Medicom Toy has returned with its latest collaborative piece, teaming up with Japanese pharmaceutical company Cleverin, alongside design studio nendo, for an antibacterial BE@RBRICK.
Headed by Oki Sato, nendo is a Japanese design agency with an expansive portfolio of everything from furniture and installations to household products and art objects. 2017 saw nendo partnering up with the aforementioned companies and Disney for a set of BE@RBRICKS designed to help remove airborne viruses and bacteria – each figure came with tiny slits for letting out extracts from disinfecting Cleverin sticks. The latest version boasts a minimal color scheme, defined by curved monochromatic shades.
The left side of the figure sees a crisp white body accentuated by smooth lines and shadows appearing at the rightmost side. Rounding up the design, tiny openings appear at the feet and back of the head, which can also be used for fragrance sticks that come with this particular release.
The BE@RBRICK is currently available at medicomtoy.tv for approximately $37 USD.
Elsewhere, Kerfcase has created a special case for the Apple Card.
