Canoo Is the Future of EV Cars With its Subscription-Only Microbuses Aimed at Millennials

Canoo is a start-up automotive company from Los Angeles targeted at millennials, and its project is to roll out a line of subscription-only EV microbuses.
The microbuses are designed by BMW i3 and i8 designer, Richard Kim. As a result, the electric vehicles are beautifully designed and simplistic, with a focus on bringing the culture of subscription-based services that are heavily associated with millennials to the automotive industry.
Each microbus is fitted with an 80 kWh battery that is good for 313lb-ft of torque, 300 BHP, 250 miles of range and a top speed of 125 MPH. It’s rear-wheel-drive and can be charged in just 28 minutes using DC fast charging, too. Canoo has equipped the microbus with seven seats — the rear being a single wraparound bench – and has finished the interior with premium, yet highly minimal details. The Canoo EV is expected to launch in 2021.
