BoJack Horseman Writes From Rehab in Final Season Trailer
Netflix reveals that Season 6 will be the series’ last.
After a nearly yearlong hiatus, Netflix has revealed the Season 6 trailer for its animated series, BoJack Horseman. The clip opens up with BoJack (Will Arnett) writing a letter to his friend Diane (Alison Brie) from rehab. He reflects on his past decisions and opens up about his inner demons while the trailer also reveals various scenes and major life changes from its ancillary characters including Princess Caroline, Mr. Peanutbutter and Todd Chavez.
Netflix also announced that the upcoming season will mark show’s finale, releasing in two parts on Oct. 25, 2019 and Jan. 31, 2020. The Raphael Bob-Waksberg-helmed series has become a cult favorite over the years and cast member Aaron Paul took to Twitter to share his bittersweet feelings on the show coming to an end.
We had a wonderful time making Bojack. Couldn’t be more proud. Fell in love with these characters just like everyone else did but sadly Netflix thought it was time to close the curtains and so here we are. They gave us a home for 6 beautiful years. Nothing we could do about it.

The streaming giant also abruptly canceled Tuca and Bertie from the same creators earlier this year, leaving us to wonder if any new projects from the BoJack team are in the works. Netflix has been known to continuously alter its catalog to stay competitive, buying out the rights to longstanding series like Seinfeld, while also investing heavily in original programming as seen with the launch of its new hip-hop competition show Rhythm + Flow.
