HAVEN's First FW19 Delivery Spotlights Technical Materials
Blending workwear and military aesthetics.
HAVEN’s first Fall/Winter 2019 focuses on the use of technical materials throughout its various fall-appropriate layering pieces. Key items in the collection blend workwear and military aesthetics, including a black tactical parka, an olive-colored liner with six exterior pockets, a flak bomber jacket with two oversized tonal pockets, and plenty of pant options ideal for the brisk weather ahead.
Many of the collection’s outerwear pieces are crafted with a Japanese polyester knit designed to wear in nicely over time, and are outfitted with Primaloft insulation to lock in heat. Rugged Polartec fleece items add an extra layer of warmth to the range, meant to be warn separately or underneath colder weather outerwear. Contrasting details and many of the pant options are made with a CORDURA cotton and nylon blend, adding a tear-resistant effect to the garments while still maintaining a cotton hand-feel.
HAVEN tops the collection off with a few cold-weather accessories, including a fleece neck gaiter, GORE-TEX New Era bucket hat and 5-panel cap, as well as knit gloves and beanies. The brand’s collaboration with Clarks makes a second appearance this season after its initial Spring/Summer 2019 offering.
HAVEN’s first Fall/Winter 2019 delivery is currently available at HAVEN Toronto and HAVEN Vancouver, as well as over on HAVEN’s website.
