The First Official Trailer for 'The Vince Staples Show' Is Now Here
Slated to air on August 22.
After taking down robbers with Common in the music video for “Hercules,” Vince Staples has returned appearing in new visuals, this time in the form of a television series.
Dubbed The Vince Staples Show, much of what the show is about has been kept elusive, releasing just a one-minute cut scene as the trailer. The video starts with the California rapper telling two kids in the backseat of his car how to hustle candy. He reiterates: “…be careful with that. We ain’t need no mixups. Now get outta my car.” The two then proceed to the front of the supermarket only to fail at their first attempt: “You didn’t even look her in the eye,” says one of them as the trailer cuts into the premier date “8.22.19.” Though no further details about the show have been revealed, it appears so far that the rapper will star as an important character in the series.
