Here's How to Get 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' Multiplayer Early Access

As Gamescom swings into high gear for a week of gaming news, previews and reveals, Call of Duty fans will be pleased to hear that they won’t need to wait until Activision’s showcase later this week for some big news. In fact, they’ll be able to dig into the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s 2v2 mode this week, over two months ahead of launch.
One of Modern Warfare‘s most eagerly-awaited features, the FPS’ multiplayer mode was recently explored in glorious 4K, giving fans an early peek at the fun to come. This week’s Alpha Test will grant access to five distinct 2v2 maps, two of which have never been shown publicly. Those without pre-orders or Playstation Plus needn’t worry, as the only thing required to try out the multiplayer mode is a PlayStation 4.
