Nike "Futro" Pack References China's Space Program
Paying homage to the Shenzhou 5 mission.

Nike has just released a pack of trainers themed off of China’s space industry. Referencing China’s first human spaceflight mission that to place in 2003, the Shenzhou 5, each pair sees the black, blue and red associated with the space mission.
The three pairs in the pack are; the Nike Air Max 720, featuring a flame graphic on the uppers with a translucent-blue air bubble; the Air Max Tailwind IV, made to mimic the spacesuits used on the mission with silver and blue across the uppers; and finally, the Nike P-6000, a futuristic take on the Nike Air Pegasus — the innovative silhouette is a nod towards the progress in China’s space industry.
Currently launched at Nike stores in Beijing, the Nike “Futro” Space Pack will see a wider release throughout China this coming September 1.
