After releasing its Carlos Sainz Sr.-inspired “Rally” pack late last week, Finnish sneaker brand Karhu is ready to amp up its current footwear arsenal with the Legacy 96 “OG.”

The Legacy was first introduced in 1996 and featured an Air Cushion landing zone, sandwich construction heel cap, and an EVA midsole to make a well-cushioned running shoe fit for Olympic athletes. The all-new successor joins Karhu’s LEGEND family and has been crafted from premium Italian leather in a white and purple colorway, while keeping the same Air Cushion sole unit that stays true to the original.

Karhu’s Legacy 96 “OG” will launch with a special box and extra set of grey and purple laces. A matching tote bag that functions as a rucksack will also be given out, however not for purchases made online.

Interested fans will be able to purchase the sneaker starting Saturday, August 24 when it launches over at Karhu.com, Karhu’s concept store in Helsinki, and at select retailers worldwide for a retail price of $150 USD.
