Reebok Taps Cottweiler for Technical DMX Trail Shadow in "White/Electric Green"
Mashing up retro design cues with progressive materials.
After just revealing its collaborative Daytona DMX with MISBHV, Reebok is back with yet another co-sign, this time joining Cottweiler for a pair of DMX Trail Shadows in “White/Electric Green.”
The sneaker is comprised of a mix of materials like premium suede, rubber and mesh fabrics, while hits of “Electric Green” accent a bevy of muted details. Gracing the top of the sneaker, “Reebok” and “Cottweiler” branding is stamped at the tongue, followed by dark green tones along the upper forefoot, collars, heel and sidewalls. Most of the functional components of the shoe are placed at the heel, adding a slew of rubber overlays and leather stripes over soft grey suede. The busy motifs are juxtaposed with more minimal designs, starting from the sidewalls to the front toe cap, recalling a retro outlook comprised of a mix of tonal panels. All of these details are underscored by a tri-toned midsole, complete with “DMX Shear” technology that offers maximum support.
The Cottweiler x Reebok DMX Trail Shadow “White/Electric Green” will be available at sneakersnstuff.com on September 1, 5 pm EST for $219 USD.
Elsewhere, the Air Jordan 10 has been updated with an earthy “Woodland Camo” colorway.
