Here Are the Winners of the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards

The annual MTV VMAs are here and the biggest names in music have all gathered at New Jersey’s Prudential Center for the coveted ceremony.

Hosted by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, the various presenters of the night included a diverse range of figures within the music and entertainment industries, including artists such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Rick Ross, and much more. Show-stopping performances from Big Sean, Missy Elliott (who received the Video Vanguard Award), J Balvin, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, and many more were also showcased.

Leading into the night, popstars Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande lead with a tied 10 nominations each, with Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X following shortly behind with nine and eight nods, respectively. As was expected, the Song of the Year award was handed to Lil Nas X for his “Old Town Road (Remix)” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. Billie Eilish took home the Best New Artist as well as Push Artist of the Year awards, with Cardi B taking home the Best Hip-Hop award with her single “Money.” The full list of winners can be found below.
