Inspired by Lake Oswego.

Fresh from releasing a colorful Marathon TR, sneaker retailer size? has given a first look at its latest project with adidas Originals. The newest exclusive sneaker to release is the chunky Ozweego silhouette, which comes dressed in a colorway inspired by the settings of Oregon’s Lake Oswego.

The prominent color on the sneaker is a maroon shade influenced by the Western Red Cedar trees that grow all across Clackamas County — where Lake Oswego is located. This is then complemented with an earthy gum tone, which appears across the sneaker’s suede overlays, and touches of “Aqua Blue” on the tongue and lining in reference to the lake itself.

Another stand-out feature of the sneaker is the geometric pattern on the silhouette’s Three Stripe branding. Inspired by cave paintings, stonework and fabrics dating back millennia, these patterns are a tribute to the indigenous peoples from the area around Oswego.

Take a look at the natural-inspired Ozweego in the gallery above, and expect it to release via the size? web store and physical locations on July 19.

In other adidas Originals news, a YEEZY BOOST 700 “Magnet” could be on the way.
