Reebok is brining back its coveted Interval silhouette, which was initially launched in 1996 as a high-performance running model.
Now the Interval returns for 2019 equipped with a few modern updates for a more lifestyle friendly purpose. Dubbed the Interval 96, the model will be released in three different color options of “White/College Royal/Scarlet,” “White/College Navy/Dark Green” and “White/College Royal/Solid Grey.” The first colorway features Reebok’s classic red, white and blue palette thrown about a mostly white mesh and leather composed upper. The second takes a darker route with navy blue and forrest green. Finally the third option is a more demure take with hits of blue.
In terms of design, the new upgraded Interval features a super-sized Reebok vector logo on both the lateral and medial sides, while hits of high-vis reflective detailing comes in on the heel and forefoot. This all sits atop a DMX cushion-assisted midsole.
“When we started looking for a supremely bold shoe that captured the wants and needs of today’s young person, we very quickly knew that it had to be Interval,” explains Reebok Asia Pacific VP/Brand Director Wittman Chad in a press release. “The ambitious spirit that led to the design of this shoe has never been stronger than how it is in today’s upcoming generations.”
The trio of Reebok Interval 96s will arrive at select Reebok retailers and reebok.com on Friday, July 19.
