ScHoolboy Q & The Alchemist Reconnect for "W.Y.G.D.T.N.S."
The TDE emcee links up with his favorite producer.
One month after the release of his music video for “Dangerous” featuring Kid Cudi, ScHoolboy Q is reconnecting with one of his go-to producers — and his personal favorite — for “W.Y.G.D.T.N.S.” A production cooked up by The Alchemist, “W.Y.G.D.T.N.S.” is being released as part of the “CRAFT Singles” series.
“New Craft Single : Schoolboy Q – ‘W.Y.G.D.T.N.S.’ Limited to 500 pieces,” Alchemist shared in a brief statement posted to Instagram. “Tomorrow 12 noon EST at alclaboratories.bandcamp.com.”
“I always come fresh. My voice is always gonna sound different. My appearance is gonna always look different. My beats are gonna sound different. I’m gonna always have that element in me because I’m me,” ScHoolboy Q recently told Vulture, sharing some insight into his unique creative process. “You’re going to always hear certain shit from me. That’s another reason that I take so long with albums, why everybody in TDE takes so long with albums. We try to make an album that’s completely different from the last album. That’s my whole thing.”
