Artisans de Genève has released its latest luxe accessory, partnering with Brazilian Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello to craft a gold, bespoke Rolex Daytona watch. The timepiece follows behind the duo’s recent collaboration, La Barrichello, and features handmade details inspired by the automotive world.
This limited edition reimagines the movement of the Rolex 4130, disassembling each piece one-by-one and intricately replacing the skeleton and bevel by hand. It’s then been encased in solid 18k everose gold and equipped with a matching gold rotor. A black ceramic bevel adds a striking contrast to round out the key details.
Le Barrichello Gold is priced at approximately $77,500 USD and available for registry now from Artisans de Genève’s website.
Elsewhere in the watch world, Omega is gearing up to release 2,020 limited-edition models of its Seamaster Planet Ocean.
