HUF Releases Heavy Metal-Inspired Capsule Honoring Artist Frank Frazetta
Drawing from the fantasy creative’s previous works.
HUF has partnered with the Frazetta Girls to release a new capsule collection for Summer 2019 honoring the late American fantasy artist Frank Frazetta. The assortment encompasses casual pieces such as outerwear, fleeces, T-shirts and accessories, which have been printed with a selection of Frazetta’s original illustrations.
Graphics within the range showcase the artist’s archival works that were featured on the likes of record covers and band gear in the ’70s and ’80s, lending a heavy metal inspiration throughout. Tees have been emblazoned with drawings of warrior women and ghouls, while various HUF logos add branding. Neutral colors like black, tan and white make up the foundation of the collection, while lime green and hot pink bring in bold pops. Trinkets like stickers, tote bags and skate decks round it all out.
Items are priced from $12 USD for the sticker pack up to $120 USD for the Frazetta Jacket, and are available to purchase now from select retailers, HUF stores and on the brand’s website.
