The pair is a part of Reebok‘s “International Food” collection, which enlists sneaker stalwarts such as Overkill to rework its silhouettes. Overkill has kept its collaboration simple, wrapping the CL in smooth, all-black leather. Simple touches such as silver branding on the rear heel tab and lateral window provide a pop of contrast, while a set of black-and-white collaborative laces offsets the entire shoe.
One of the most notable differences is a redesigned tongue label. On one side the standard Reebok logo appears in red and white, while on the other, Overkill adds a Doner kebab graphic and its moniker. The insoles are also treated to a similar graphic print.
Rounding off this collaborative pair is a specially-designed aluminum foil-covered shoe box and kebab-inspired wrapping for the shoes. A T-shirt, tote bag, cap and socks will also release alongside the Overkill x Reebok CL Leather “Döner” on July 27. The shoes are priced at €94.95 EUR (approx. $106 USD) and can be bought in-store and online. You can also sign up to the launch party via Overkill’s limited-slot RSVP form.
