Nike Revamps Sleek Huarache-Type With "Pink Tint" (UPDATE)
Rounding out the deconstructed N. 354 pack.

UPDATE: We now have a look at the “Pink Tint” pack’s Huarache-Type sneaker, which complements the previously-seen AF1- and Drop-Type silhouettes. Like its counterparts, the Huarache-type sports a muted black upper with bright accents and a white midsole, bolstered by small touches like stitched branding on the forefoot and a tiny “N. 354” to indicate its inclusion in the sub-label (354 is a nod to Steve Prefontaine’s fastest mile: 3 minutes and 54 seconds).
The shoe hits stockists like Extra Butter on July 27 for 120 USD.
Original Story: In line with Nike’s latest concept-driven N. 354 footwear collection, the sportswear brand has released a new “Pink Tint” colorway pack featuring the AF1-Type and Drop-Type LX silhouettes. The new collection remains a part of Nike’s archive department, with each silhouette resembling the prototype stage of various sneakers. The new colorways see a black-based upper with various Pink Tint hues marking various details, with the the AF1-Type featuring anthracite-colored TPU panels throughout.
The Drop-Type LX, based on the NikeCourt line of tennis sneakers, enforces distinct design lines — most noticeably the midsole’s rubber runs above the normal setting, furthering the experimental edge and look of the sleek design. Pink Tint hits finish off the shoe’s Swoosh branding, “N. 354” tag on the medial side, and heel regions. Detail-wise, the AF1-Type incorporates a similar placement of the Pink Tint, with more details offered up in a vibrant yellow, finishing off the deconstructed ethos of the sneaker with exposed stitching throughout.
You can see the sneakers in the gallery above. Both the AF1-Type and Drop-Type LX in “Pink Tint” drop on July 26 via Nike SNKRS. The AF1-Type will retail for $140 USD while the Drop-Type LX is priced at $75 USD.
