New Balance has added a luxurious new take on its Made in US 997 sneaker, releasing the silhouette in a premium leather edition with metal-tone elements for even more flare. The upper is washed in crisp black for a sleek look, while the upgraded logo details offer metallic shine.

The midsole is featured in all-grey to continue the monochromatic theme and comes equipped with the brand’s support-enhancing ENCAP technology. On the sides, the usual “N” branding has been given the deluxe treatment, encased in metal and outlined with copper-colored trimming for contrast. Black laces and a black rubber outsole complete the streamlined aesthetic.

New Balance’s Made in US 997 “Black/Grey” is priced at $300 USD and available now from the label’s webstore.

For more in footwear, check out the 997 in the clean “Grey Suede” colorway.
