Madlib Drops Another Mac Miller Track During His MoMA PS1 Set
Another potential track off of ‘Maclib.’
Earlier this year Madlib revealed a collaborative track done alongside Mac Miller and Thundercat during his performance in San Diego. Quickly after reports of a joint album started to surface when Madlib shared a few of the tracks with acclaimed producer Thelonious Martin, who then went on to tease the album during an interview with DJBooth. Madlib’s website Rappcats has since confirmed the project is real and it’s an EP.
To tide fans over, Madlib recently shared another previously unreleased track featuring the late rapper. During his recent set at MoMA PS1 over the weekend, Madlib played the track to the packed crowd who cheered loudly when Miller’s vocals came in. Check it out in the video above.
As for now, Madlib has no official plans to drop the Mac Miller collab-album titled Maclib.
Earlier in June, Mac Miller’s first official posthumous track arrived with Free Nationals’ “Time.”
