Tyshawn Jones & adidas Drop Hoops-Inspired Pro Model in Money Green
Created alongside former pro skater and Footwear Design Director Scott Johnston.
Tyshawn Jones‘ signature adidas Skateboarding model is now coming in a luxe green and white colorway. Created by Jones and former pro skater turned footwear design director, Scott Johnston, its silhouette reflects a visual statement built and tested by Jones himself.
When discussing his pro model, Jones states, “It symbolizes that if you keep working hard, you can get the things you actually want and dream-—you just have to go through the stepping stones.”
Drawing inspiration from basketball aesthetics and design elements, the sneaker features an Adituff reinforced toe, EVA midsole, and inner vulc wrap for skateboarders in mind. It also utilizes a PU molded sockliner and memory foam tongue for all-day wearability. What’s more is that the sneakers are accompanied by TJ Firebird track jacket and white Cargo pants, both featuring an embroidery of his beloved bulldog Snickers.
The adidas Tyshawn in green and white will retail for $85 USD on July 18 at specialty skateboard retailers worldwide and on the adidas Skateboarding website.
