Leveraging the popularity of its ’90s performance sneakers, PUMA has brought back the CELL Alien OG. The silhouette debuted in 1998 as a revolutionary long distance running shoe, set apart by its visible technology features. Today, the same characteristics that originally attracted runners, including its durable and resilient bubble packed sole, are the same design details that make it a current streetwear staple worthy of PUMA’s newest ambassador, YBN Cordae.

For the rerelease, the footwear branded opted for the CELL Alien OG’s original colorway from its first launch. The mix features a white mesh upper with black and blue suede overlays. The most striking detail comes through hits of “Lime Punch,” which quite literally highlights the toe cap, sole and cell bubble. What’s more, PUMA is releasing new iterations of shoe, continuing its evolution from 90s runner to modern style staple.

Check out the lookbook above, featuring YBN Cordae, and shop the PUMA Cell Alien OG on PUMA’s website, where the shoes is available for $110 USD.
