Following on from London Fashion Week: Men’s, the European fashion crowd headed to Florence for Pitti Uomo Spring/Summer 2020. Highlights from the street style at this season’s event include bold designs — with graphic T-shirts, colorful rugby shirts and printed shirts — and relaxed tailoring.
Stand-out pieces seen at Pitti Uomo 96 included collaborative UNDERCOVER x TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist. items, as well as pieces from fashion week staples such as Raf Simons and OFF-WHITE™–with both Raf and Virgil making cameos during the international event. Elsewhere, eye-catching prints over the course of the week included leopard prints, Hawaiian-style shirts and all-over sailing boat patterns. Similar to LFWM, short-sleeve and camp collar shirts were another regular appearance in Florence’s warm weather.
Take a look through the some of the best street style from the first day of Pitti Uomo 96. Some of the stand-out shows include Clare Waight Keller’s first standalone menswear show for Givenchy and Sterling Ruby’s debut S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. collection.
