  • The runway presentation showcased major collaborative projects with George Cox, OTW by Vans, Pretty Relics and Schott NYC

  • The collection integrates archival punk imagery and artistic contributions from Jamie Reid and the Judy Blame Charitable Trust

DSM Kei Ninomiya officially unveiled its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, “OUR PUNK,” on June 17, during the Pitti Uomo event in Florence. Hosted at the historic former Sant’Orsola convent, the runway presentation introduced an expansive range of garments and accessories that filter traditional subcultural archetypes through the brand’s distinct structural design language.

The collection places a heavy emphasis on collaborative footwear and outerwear, anchored by partnerships with foundational punk labels. For footwear, the brand debuted button-detailed George Cox creepers alongside multiple OTW by Vans silhouettes. The Vans collaboration includes reinterpreted Slip-On and low-top Old Skool models treated with woven leather checkerboard patterns, a custom patchwork design, and custom floral prints. For apparel, Schott NYC and Kei Ninomiya developed a series of leather jackets reinterpreting the iconic Schott Perfecto® motorcycle jacket, blending archival punk details with modern craftsmanship.

Additionally, the collection features exclusive printed vintage T-shirts created with New York label Pretty Relics, paying homage to Dover Street Market’s global city locations. The overarching punk ethos is reinforced through graphic elements, incorporating ransom-note lettering and cut-and-paste artwork from the late British artist Jamie Reid, alongside posthumous contributions from the Judy Blame Charitable Trust. The show’s atmosphere was enhanced by a live, non-linear sonic arrangement compiled by Michele Ferrari for Villa Lontana, layering archival materials and the poetry of Tomaso Binga to match the rhythmic cadence of the garments.
