Trouble Recruits City Girls for "She A Winner"
The ‘Edgewood’ rapper is a little less aggressive on his latest.
In March of 2018, Trouble enlisted Drake, The Weeknd, Quavo, Fetty Wap, Boosie Badazz and more for his highly-anticipated full-length studio project (or, mixtape) Edgewood. Now, for his first major single of 2019, he unleashes “She A Winner.” Notably, “She A Winner,” finds Trouble serving up a series of bars to soundtrack your next strip club visit or late-night hotel rendezvous, with City Girls and producers Hitmaka & Ayo N Keyz coming along the wild ride.
“I’ve been watching his grind for years now, since we were young as f*ck, coming up in Atlanta on the music scene, trying to make something out of nothing,” Mike WiLL Made-It shared with us in summer of 2018, revealing some insight into Trouble’s artistic development and recalling his earlier years. “Trouble is the only person from the city who’s going to give you that raw, pure, honest, real rap, mixed with originality, new flavor, new flows and new lingo. He has the grind, work ethic and dedication to back it up, and the city knows.”
“Men take women’s kindness for weakness so we finna tell these n***as, ‘F*ck them, we want our money. We demand it,’”” Miami told XXL, breaking down her duo’s motivations and purpose. “The music is kinda like, ‘We ain’t takin’ no ish from no man.’”

Back in October of last year, The Weeknd enlisted Quavo, Swae Lee and Trouble for the official “Try Me” remix.
