Maxo Kream Shares New Music Video for 'Brandon Banks' Single "Still"
The Texas rapper breathes new life into the ChaseTheMoney-produced cut.
Last month, Maxo Kream teamed up with fellow Texas rapper Megan Thee Stallion for a collaborative single titled “She Live.” Now, nearly two months after its original arrival as a single, Maxo Kream is revisiting his latest solo track, “Still,” for a new music video put together by director James “JMP” Pereira and producer Cosmo Orlando.
“Still” was initially released at the beginning of May to introduce Kream’s newly-inked $1.5 million USD deal with RCA. Notably, “Still” features production from ChaseTheMoney, and also serves as one of the supporting singles for Maxo Kream’s upcoming studio album and major label debut, Brandon Banks. Kream’s Brandon Banks project is the follow-up to his critically-acclaimed 2018 album Punken, and will also feature contributions from Travis Scott, Mike Dean, Murda Beatz and more.
“This album is me telling the story of how I’m just like my dad except he was a scammer and I was a trapper,” Maxo Kream recently shared, delivering a brief press statement to break down his forthcoming full-length. “Despite his flaws, he was a great parent, always made sure the rent was paid, made sure I went to school, taught me right from wrong. I wasn’t raised to be a trapper, it just happened because of my circumstances. My relationship with my dad now is great—I used to be terrified of him growing up but now that’s my n***a. We’re like yin and yang.”
