Daniëlle Cathari & adidas Originals Deliver Sophisticated Sportswear Staples

Daniëlle Cathari has presented her fourth collaborative collection with adidas Originals, reworking classic sportswear pieces for Fall/Winter 2019.
The Amsterdam-based designer reworks classics adidas silhouettes for FW19, creating unisex pieces which utilize a timeless design, deconstructed approaches and classic Three Stripes qualities, such as recycled polyester tricot materials and embroidery.
Ribbed tank tops, melange grey sweatsuits, and tailored sets crafted with adidas sports fabrics are available in muted shades such as “Soft Vision,” a dusty shade of lavender, as well as “Cloud White.” A number of pieces feature a paintbrush effect on the Three Stripes branding, indebting this collection with a sophisticated approach to deconstructed clothing, while it manages to maintain its focus on being a “grown-up version of streetwear.”
Key pieces from the collection include the patchwork grey tracksuit, the “Fox Red” Firebird track top and pants, as well as the relaxed suit in “Soft Lavender.” Take a look at all of the unisex pieces above, which sees Kendall Jenner lead a pack of models sporting looks in a stripped-back set featuring ’90s-era office furniture. Daniëlle Cathari’s FW19 collection will release on July 15 at select adidas Originals stores and online.
