With a nod to the heyday of the clear craze that swept the 1990s, G-SHOCK has released a series of referential watches. The recently teased GA700SK-1A and DW5600SK-1 are among a collection of timepieces given a completely see-through dressing.
As part of the brand’s Clear Skeleton Series, core design elements of the collection — such as distinctly shaped watch faces and signature bands — are kept intact for both models. Minimalistic in display, metallic gray faces are complemented by translucent bezels and straps and come equipped with essential functions to provide wearers with maximum readability. These cosmetic details add flair, but without compromising on the durability and technical features that the imprint is known for. Further accentuating the looks of the offering, the above lookbook plays off the apparent characteristics through styling and textures to amplify the core inspiration behind the drop.
The GA700SK-1A and DW5600SK-1 retail for $120 USD and $110 USD respectively, and will be available at G-SHOCK retailers including Macy’s, the G-SHOCK Soho Store and the brand’s website.
