SHOOP Explores Wild West Form in Tailoring-Focused SS20 Collecition
Featuring everything from recycled denim to technical nylon fabrics.
Madrid and Tokyo-based unisex label SHOOP has presented its Spring/Summer 2020 collection, delivering a selection of Western-indebted tailoring looks.
Whereas previous collections from SHOOP have explored its aesthetic through sporting references and workwear, the collection on offer for SS20 delves into clean-cut tailoring featuring undertones of preppy aesthetic and the Wild West.
For SS20, SHOOP has utilized recycled denim, technical nylon fabrics, animal prints, cotton, synthetic leather and materials with an optical illusion effect. Standout pieces include the leather two-piece, the silver pants, the ’70s-esque yellow suit and the lavender double-breasted belted blazer.
Other notable pieces include the split-hem lavender trousers, a black and cream striped shirt — serving the aforementioned optical illusion — as well as a metallic silver double-breasted trench coat and the label’s range of graphic T-shirts.
