Medicom Toy Rejoins Chiaki Fujimoto for Pastel R@BBRICK & NY@BRICK
A set of small- and medium-sized characters ideal for children and the young at heart.
Off the heels of Medicom Toy‘s Hello Kitty BE@RBRICK, the Japanese toy manufacturer continues celebrating the third anniversary of its Medicom Toy Plus store in Tokyo’s Omotesando Hills with more collaborative goods. This time, Japanese celebrity Chiaki Fujimoto joins the company to craft a special set of R@BBRICKs and NY@BRICKs.
Dubbed “MY FIRST R@BBRICK B@BY” and “MY FIRST NY@BRICK BABY,” the two figure sets are painted in pastels of pink, yellow and green. The R@BBRICK comes with its signature bunny ears, while the NY@BRICK has cat ears. Fujimoto, a Tarento (Talent) celebrity, elected to bisect the figures with a transparent midsection, filled up half-way with small pearly orbs tinged in the aforementioned colors. Each set comes in sizes of 100% and 400% and arrives in vibrant color palettes that suitably complement the summer weather.
The Medicom Toy MY FIRST R@BBRICK B@BY and MY FIRST NY@BRICK BABY figure sets will be available exclusively from July 6 – 7 at Medicom Toy Plus’ physical location in Tokyo for $120 USD. Those seeking to lay their hands on one will need to sign up in a raffle at medicomtoy.tv for a chance to purchase the figures.
