JAY-Z is officially a billionaire, reports Forbes. It was just revealed in Forbes’ newest cover story that Hov’s fortune “conservatively totals $1 billion, making him one of only a handful of entertainers to become a billionaire—and the first hip-hop artist to do so.” You can read the breakdown of his ventures and the full article.
His portfolio is distributed between a number of ventures including, liquor (Armand de Brignac, D’Ussé), art, real estate (homes in Los Angeles, the Hamptons, Tribeca), stakes in companies like Uber, his music catalog and businesses such as Tidal and Roc Nation.
