Carhartt WIP Adds a Military Twist to Converse Chuck '70s
Dropping in “Camo Olive” and “Brown Duck.”

Carhartt WIP and Converse have teamed up once again for another round of collaborative Chuck ’70s, this time adding “Camo Olive” and “Brown Duck” to the canvas upper.
Previous Carhartt WIP x Converse collaborations have seen the classic sneaker reworked in GORE-TEX and shaggy wool. For Spring/Summer 2019, the duo looks to Carhartt WIP’s workwear and military influences for two pairs of clean collaborative Cons’.
The first pair on offer is a reworked camouflaged pair featuring contrast white stitching and an egret colored sole unit. Black piping lines the sole unit while chrome silver eyelets and white laces are on the upper, which features navy, brown and khaki throughout.
The “Brown Duck” offering is subtler and features matching brown piping on its sole unit. The same contrasting detailing seen on the “Camo Olive” pair is used on the upper and the shoe is rounded off with a brown outsole. Both pairs feature a Carhartt WIP logo on the tongue, a rear bumper tag and co-branded insoles. The Carhartt WIP x Converse Chuck ’70s will release on June 6 exclusively at Carhartt WIP stores and online.
