Our Legacy Celebrates Summer Nights for Pre-Fall 2019
Featuring references to workwear, dining table linen and even stained napkins.
Swedish label Our Legacy has returned with its Pre-Fall 2019 collection, taking inspiration from watching football in Southern European restaurants. Speaking about the capsule, Our Legacy creative director Cristopher Nying explained that it “embodies the impressions of watching football games projected on makeshift screens at bistros and trattorias during late summer nights in Southern Europe.”
This influence is reflected through references to service uniforms, materials and a color palette inspired by stained napkins and dining table linen. As Nying explains, these references are combined with nods to “the notion of dressing up for a moment of celebration that ends in despair and frustration over your team losing the game.”
Key pieces in the Pre-Fall 2019 release include workwear-influenced jacket and carpenter trousers in Ecru Herringbone, the semi-transparent “Acitidiy” yellow popover and a selection of T-shirts and sweats featuring blurred graphic imagery.
