Digging into its archives, Nike is set to bring back the Air Zoom Pegasus Trail with a new look and updated performance features.
Updating the runner introduced in 2000, the new Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail features a specially developed mesh upper that offers ventilation and adaptation to wet running conditions. Durable overlays have been applied to high-wear areas on the forefoot and heel to offer protection against the rough trail routes.
Elevating the shoe are separate Zoom Air units at the heel and toe for responsiveness and stability on uneven paths. Finally, the outsole has been crafted with enlarged lugs with flat tops for enhanced traction.
No pricing details just yet, but the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail is available now in Europe for NikePlus members and a global release is set for June 13 on nike.com and select retailers.
