Big $wift Takes Viewers to Southeast LA For New "Fo' Real" Video
And yes, he’s still serving.
At the end of last month, Big $wift released his debut studio project, Still Servin. Made up of eight tracks, Still Servin also featured records with Cypress Moreno, BravotheBagChaser, AzBenzz, Chucky Beatz, CRaigy F, RobTwo, BeatBoy and others. Now, further supporting his first album, the 562 pills-and-powder purveyor is back with a new music video for one of his Still Servin‘s standout cuts, “Fo’ Real.”
“This probably my favorite record off the Still Servin EP,” Big $wift tells us, sharing his thoughts on “Fo’ Real.” “Me and my Producer Saltreze sampled a classic wiz Khalifa song and put our Southeast LA twist to it. Shit came out beautiful. Bobby Astro shot this video, he wanted me to kinda be in my own head in this video. That’s the black screen with floating 3D letters, then it warms up to a vintage style filming of me in the 562. Most definitely got more music and videos on the way, and just know with more videos we release for this EP, the more in-depth with me you’lll get. N***az out here really still serving. Shoutout to my engineer and my whole team.”
“Still Servin is an intro to my sound; my first real solo project and a step in to my world,” Big $wift previously told us, sharing some insight into his motivations for creating Still Servin and the album’s overall themes. “This is as real and as authentic as I can get … I mean every word on that tape. Southeast P and I’m the only n***a from my side to make the area lit. Y’all gonna want to come to the 562 after listening to this.”
