Maison Margiela Releases Laminated "New Future" High-Tops
Priced at $1,190 USD.

After giving its signature Future sneaker several reworks, including completely destroying the model for Spring/Summer 2017, Maison Margiela is introducing the “New Future” edition of the kicks. Taking cues from some of the brand’s other PVC-coated accessories as of late, the shoe is marked by its laminated, see-through shell that gives it a cutting-edge look.
The high-top style is constructed of suede and foam, which has been completely covered along the upper in clear polyurethane. Under the glossy outer layer, the side panels are featured in light brown while the heel and padded ankle strap offer a golden yellow pop suited for Spring/Summer 2019. The lace keeper has been coated in black and fitted with white laces for contrast, while a translucent ridged outsole rounds it all off.
Maison Margiela’s “New Future” sneakers retail for $1,190 USD and are available now from Bergdorf Goodman’s webstore.
